[Rin just lays on the bed in the room and stares at the wall, clutching the phone in his hands. A few times he dozes off only to jerk awake from horrible nightmares and memories of what he did to his friends. Would they ever forgive him... ? Were they even alive?
About a half an hour before Yukio calls again he does fall asleep without any actual nightmares to keep him from resting, so when the phone goes off again it startles him awake.]
[Yukio's waiting for Rin when he finally makes it to the lobby, a little out of breath from his long ride. The bike's been propped up against a nearby table (because with the way people scavenge around here he didn't feel safe leaving it outside) and he has a makeshift bag slung over one shoulder. Looks like the remaining tatters of the jacket he arrived in.
He moves to meet his Rin as soon as he spots him, quick about getting up in his space and familiarizing himself with his brother's generally abysmal condition.]
[He won't need to look very hard. Rin's clothes are filthy, blood stained and tattered, skin pallid and equally dirty. His right forearm sports a fading scar that goes all the way around, and while all other injuries are all but gone now it's clear that he went through the ringer in more ways than one.
He stumbles over, having trouble staying completely upright.]
Yukio threads an arm around his brother's back to support him, keeping him upright long enough to be lead over to the nearest piece of furniture. Once Rin is settled he goes to work, removing his bag and rummaging through it for a moment before pulling out a water bottle and handing it over.]
Drink slowly. If you go too fast or drink too much you'll make yourself sick.
[While Rin does that, Yukio goes back into his bag. Looks like he brought an array of first aid supplies with him just in case, as well as some food. Alright, it's actually just applesauce, but Rin wouldn't be able to handle much more than that anyway.
There's a glint of metal at the bottom of the bag that Rin might recognize if he's coherent enough to really look, but Yukio doesn't draw it out. His guns aren't really needed at the moment.]
As soon as Yukio's arm is around him he slumps, rubbing a hand against the side of his face in exhaustion. He didn't know it was possible to sleep as much as he has in the past two days and still feel so exhausted.]
Thanks...
[He takes the water with the arm that's obviously been injured some how, pulling the cap off and drinking it as slowly as he can. He wants to guzzle it, but he knows better than to ignore Yukio's warning on that.
Once he was sitting, he watched Yukio with his bag, nearly missing the glint of metal in it.]
[He nods.] Right before the scarecrows appeared. They didn't prove particularly useful. [Or useful at all, really, at least in those circumstances. He needs targets with internal organs.
With no real remaining wounds to focus on, Yukio's attention is drawn to that scar on Rin's right arm. He's almost afraid to ask, but...]
[It's not even Yukio's arm, but he's kinda nauseated at the idea too. It's Rin, of course, and his regeneration's obviously taken care of it, but... it's Rin.
So instead of being freaked out, he takes the water bottle from Rin and gently takes hold of that arm, checking his brothers hand and fingers to be sure they're in proper working order. It's an unnecessary gesture, he knows, but it make him feel a little better about things.]
[The worst this Rin has ever had to deal with has been getting tied up and tortured with his own power, so Yukio isn't alone in being utterly disturbed by it. He knew it could happen he just didn't ever expect it to.
He doesn't want to throw up. He really doesn't. Not after getting water in him finally, but damn if he isn't swallowing hard and feeling a sick sensation rising in the back of his throat.
He only nods to what Yukio has said, letting his hand be taken and looked over while his other hand goes to his mouth. It's a bit tender, and having some one actually touch it does make him wince, but he's far more occupied with the fact that the damn thing was gone for a time.]
[Out of common courtesy (which Rin has little of) and a general feeling of gratitude to his brother, Rin will try very very hard to not puke on Yukio's shoes.
But he will finally give up trying to fight it and actually throw up once they're outside.
At least that patch of dirt and mostly dead grass next to the entryway is much more absorbent than some one's shoes.
God he feels pathetic, but he also feels so damn horrible that he can't even feel properly sorry for himself at the moment.]
[Oh, good. Yukio would've dealt if the mess had ended up his shoes because he knows Rin can't help it, but things are much less unpleasant this way. At least for him.
Supporting Rin patiently as he gets that sick out. Really, this is the nicest he's been to his brother in a pretty long time. Shame it took all that trauma to make it happen.]
[It's probably difficult even for some one like Yukio to be that much of an asshole to some one who's been through hell the past few days, and is currently suffering under a good deal of things including malnourishment, dehydration and exhaustion.
He's tough, but he's not invincible, and Yukio is seeing his brother at one of his weakest moments in years.]
[Good to know, because Rin isn't likely to be 100% better right away either. Certain things he can bounce back from just fine, but he's never had to deal with things like what he went through this week. He'll recover eventually, of course, he always does. But his stomach isn't likely to be happy with him for quite a few days.]
I think... y-yeah, I'm okay now... what about Kohaku and Night, though?
[He frowns a bit as he starts to lead Rin back inside. In his worry over Rin he'd forgotten about the others.]
... If I can't get a hold of them soon I can go back, but I don't want you going that far on foot so soon. And I doubt you'll fit in the bicycle basket.
Re: video
He cuts the feed while he's riding, but he'll call again once he's near.]
I'm almost there, Niisan. Can you come down to the lobby?

I've... had some water. Not a lot.

What happened here?

[Which is how Rin and Night were able to survive even without hiding that much.]
Huh... ?
[Rin actually forgot about it, but given the state he was in at the time it happened it's actually pretty understandable.
He reaches towards it with his other hand, touching it lightly.]
I... I can't remember... I was fightin' somethin' and--... I-I think it cut my arm off...
[Well now he just feels nauseated and severely grossed out. Great.]

Slow, deep breaths. [Because Yuki doesn't want you throwing up either, bro.] Do you need to step outside for some fresh air?
