[Oh, good. Yukio would've dealt if the mess had ended up his shoes because he knows Rin can't help it, but things are much less unpleasant this way. At least for him.

Supporting Rin patiently as he gets that sick out. Really, this is the nicest he's been to his brother in a pretty long time. Shame it took all that trauma to make it happen.]

[It's probably difficult even for some one like Yukio to be that much of an asshole to some one who's been through hell the past few days, and is currently suffering under a good deal of things including malnourishment, dehydration and exhaustion.

He's tough, but he's not invincible, and Yukio is seeing his brother at one of his weakest moments in years.]

[Not a single assholey thought has crossed his mind, and likely won't for quite a while. Or at least until Rin's back on his feet again.

Yukio shifts his grip.] Just let me know when you're ready to go back inside. I think we should stay here tonight.

[Good to know, because Rin isn't likely to be 100% better right away either. Certain things he can bounce back from just fine, but he's never had to deal with things like what he went through this week. He'll recover eventually, of course, he always does. But his stomach isn't likely to be happy with him for quite a few days.]

I think... y-yeah, I'm okay now... what about Kohaku and Night, though?

[He frowns a bit as he starts to lead Rin back inside. In his worry over Rin he'd forgotten about the others.]

... If I can't get a hold of them soon I can go back, but I don't want you going that far on foot so soon. And I doubt you'll fit in the bicycle basket.

[Though that would be hilarious.]

That only worked for Zim...

[Because Zim is tiny.

But that aside, yeah, he's not going to try making it back either. Hopefully their house would be alright...]

I--... one'a the people I hurt... I think it was Kohaku...

[He nudges the door open with one shoulder, hesitant to respond for a moment.]

... She'll be okay. She's a strong young woman.

[Not really what Rin was hoping to hear, but he knew better than to try and drag his brother down to his level.]

... Come sit back down. I want you to try and get some more water down.

[That he can do without worrying too much. And hopefully without throwing up again.]

Bein' sick sucks...

[Understatement, Rin.]

[The physical part, anyway. Hell, eventually the emotional component will dissipate as well, but that'll be no comfort to Rin now.]

I slept... I'unno how long but I just wanna fall asleep again. Is that... normal?

[He really doesn't know, since he pretty much never got sick growing up. It was always Yukio who wound up with the sniffles or whatever was going around school at the time.]

[Yukio nods.]

You're mentally and physically exhausted, and sleep is the best way the body has to recuperate.

'kay... can I go back to sleep then... ?

[He's even rubbing at his eyes with the back of his hand like a tired child]

[Jeez, bro, look a little more pitiable why don't you.]

Yes. Do you want to go find a free bed?

[He's good at that when it really counts.]

[He snags the bag he brought with him as they pass by, ignoring the lobby furniture in favor of finding an empty room for the both of them to spend the night in. Preferrably something as close as possible that won't force Yukio to carry Rin's bike up stairs when he inevitably returns to retrieve it.]

[Rin nods slowly, and motions towards the first floor entry way to the rooms. That's a good place to go when he's tired enough to fall asleep standing up.]

There should be an empty room there...

[Yukio leads them through the entryway and down the hall, finding two locked doors before a third swings open for them. Alright, bro, bedtime.]

[Oh yes, wonderful bed.

Rin practically faceplants on it, rolling over on to his side and curling up on it.]

G'night, Yukio...

[It's barely a mumble, and a few seconds later he's out like a light.]

[Yukio sighs lightly, watching Rin for a few moments before tugging a blanket up over him. He'll go a fetch the bike and probably end up falling asleep sitting up on the other side of the bed.]
